…and so do I! A few weeks ago I joined in on a fun post card swap hosted by the always lovely Jess of Jesstagirl & Her Officer. When I’m traveling I always look at the fun postcards, but never actually pick one up and send it. That all changed with this challenge, and it was fun!
I had been traveling in the Orlando area and came home with a nasty cold…that sadly turned into some sort of respiratory infection. Between the travel and the sickness I hadn’t checked my PO Box in a while, so imagine my surprise when I found this fun little guy from Natalia in DC. I’ve only been in the DC area once (waaay back in high school) so I’ve been itching to visit again. However, one of my favorite places was Monticello. I have photos of the beautiful grounds in my high school scrapbooks…so imagine my delight when I received a fun postcard from there!
Thanks Natalia, your post card made my day (especially since it arrived on my birthday…talk about perfect timing!)…and I agree Jefferson really was a Renaissance man.
I’m just now catching up on blogs, so I’m sorry this comment is so late! I’m happy you played along and that’s even cooler that you’ve been to the place she sent the card from! Very neat.
The postcard swap button on this post made me think of this new divine twine color I came across yesterday and can’t wait for it to come in… http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Air_Mail_Divine_Twine/121/c3 It’s Air Mail colors! =) Though you might squee over it too. 😉
I know!! Isn’t it amazing?!? It’s on my Christmas wish list 😉
